Diploma in Epidemiology / Diploma in Biostatistics is a 1-year part-time programme. Courses in Epidemiology / Biostatistics (9 credit units in total) are required for graduation.

Bachelor’s degree, and should preferably be working in health-related areas.

Required Documents

Photocopy of certificates of academic/professional qualifications (e.g. examination certificates and other qualifications) and photocopy of the applicant’s HKID card/other identity document as given in the Application Form.  Original documents must not be sent.


Tuition Fee in 2020-21: HK$43,650.00*


Tuition Fee Payment

Students are required to pay the first installment of course fee HK$21,825* (half of full fees) before the course commences. The fees, once paid, are non-refundable or non-transferable. Payment(s) can be made by a crossed cheque or bankdraft, payable to “The Chinese University of Hong Kong”

The Programme reserves the right to cancel the course if the number of registered students is insufficient or for other unanticipated reasons.
